FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I drink tap water?
Everybody says tap water in Madrid is very good to drink. Nevertheless, if you have a week stomach, do not risk your holidays and get yourself bottled water.

Who is taking care of me in case help or information is needed?
During office hours we will provide you with any help or information. You will have the cell phone of your HOUSE&DAYS assigned agent to help you in any emergency.

Do I need an adaptor to use electrical devises?
Not for European electrical devises using 220-240V (except those from the UK). If you come from UK or outside mainland Europe, you will need an adaptor.

Are pets welcomed?
Our policy is not to accept pets in our apartments.

Have all apartments double beds?
Lay out in every apartment is different.

Any problem if I travel with children?
Children under 2 years old stay for free. In case you need a cot, we can provide you with one.

Is there phone or internet connexion in the apartments?
Apartments do not have land phone. Some of them have wi-fi internet connexion. Please check the characteristics of your apartment.

Are apartments safe?
You will feel safe in our apartments and in any Madrid area where our apartments are located. In case you have any doubt or need any advise about any other part of the city, do not hesitate asking us.

Price is per person or per apartment?
Price varies according to apartment and people staying. Usually less people pay less.

Will I find any unexpected expense?
When you book, we will inform you about total price. No surprises.

Is there any additional charge (electricity, gas, water)?
You do not pay any additional charges for electricity, gas or water. Nevertheless, we ask you to behave responsibly and use services according to your needs. Please do not waste energy.

Is breakfast included?
No. You should not worry, in any case. All apartments have a kitchen where you can prepare whatever you might need. Beside, all apartments are placed in areas where you’ll find something to eat any time of the day.

Will I need towels or sheets?
You’ll find fresh towels and sheets in all apartments.

How much time could it take me from the airport to the apartment?
Transport time between the airport and the apartment varies. It will depend on arrival terminal, situation of the apartment, time of the day and what day it is. You should allow from one to two hours for transportation. If you give us your arrival details, we will use our experience to tell you how much it could take to you.

How often are apartments cleaned?
The apartment will be clean by the time you check in. If you stay more than a week, an additional cleaning service will be charged (one per week), according to the apartment. If you need the apartment to be arranged more than once a week, get in contact with us and we can arrange it.
